This is a collection of photographs taken in and around St Ives within the last three years. I have taken many over the years, but these are from my digital collection. The thought of sharing your compositions with others has always appealed to me, so what better place to put them.

 

I have sorted the galleries into categories to help you navigate through them easily. To start the slide show just click on the play button in the centre of the gallery. You can also advance through quicker if you wish by using the forward and back buttons and also pause on a particular image if you wish. If you move your curser to the top, a scrolling strip of thumbnails will appear. You can also click on these individually to view them.

 

Four of the categories cover the main beaches: the beautiful ‘Porthminster’, the surfing beach ‘Porthmeor’, the ‘Harbour’ beach, the small but sheltered ‘Porthgwidden’ and stunning ‘Carbis Bay’ beach. In addition to this there is a gallery of the surfers at sunset at ‘Porthmeor’, ‘The town’, the ‘Coastal path’ from Porthminster beach to Carbis Bay and  finally anything else I can’t find a category for is in the ‘Other stuff’ gallery.
