Welcome to the Hidden Cabin Escape

Welcome to our super, converted cabin at the end of our sunny garden! The location is ideal for coastal walks, beautiful white sandy beaches and amazing surf spots. The cabin is a perfect place to rest and chill out after a great day out and 10/15 min walk to St Ives harbour & fantastic restaurants, pubs and shops. We have ample parking on our driveway!

Included; linen, towels, milk, coffee & teas, tv, dvd, kettle, toaster, fridge and crockery (N.B. this is not a kitchenette).

The space

​

The cabin is situated at the end of our south facing, 25 metre garden. It measures 5 x 4 metres with windows at every garden aspect. Inside, the cabin is super comfy and has wooden beds that have zip up mattresses, which can be a superkingsize or 2 singles. There is also drawer storage underneath. You can watch TV from bed as it is one large room.

A third space could fit a baby or infant at the end of the bed if you wanted to bring your own travel cot. We have an area for dining to the side with a round table and perfect views into the garden, as well as a lovely separate shower room which has a power boost shower, toilet and glass bowl sink. There are 2 heaters one in the cabin and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. This keeps it warm and cosy in the winter months. There is a wooden screen which can be drawn across to keep the cabin cosy and dark.

There is a newly decked area for sitting alfresco, and on clear nights watching the stars!

We have also a silent fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, large TV, dvd player and Wifi . Tea, coffee and milk is provided as well as two sets of towels. Welcome pack includes wine, flowers and milk for weekly stays. Biscuits and milk for shorter stays. All information on the area and about the cabin is provided on arrival as part of the welcome pack.

Guest access

​

Access to the Cabin is via a private gate at the side of the house that leads directly into the garden so it's easy to access and also nice and quiet. Sometimes if we are out or if guests prefer they are welcome to check into the cabin themselves, we leave the key on the table in the cabin (prearranged).

The house is a cream colour and has a garage with wooden doors and double driveway. Please park in the left part of the driveway. There is usually a blue van parked in front of the garage (to help you find the house at night).

Interaction with guests

​

Is as much or as little as you like, we are very easy going and respect the privacy of our guests. Julius is a keen surfer and has great advice on beaches & tides. We can direct you to lots of fun things to do as well as restaurants/pubs etc.. in the area.

Our dog loves to say hello and hangs out in the garden sometimes so please do let us know if you are not a doggy person!its no problem at all. The cabin is totally private and separate from the house and has it's own decked area and small patio garden.

Other things to note

​

We are a family with 2 daughters and a well behaved golden retriever. Sometimes we will be in and out of the garden during the summer months. Orla our dog is super friendly and likes to meet our guests. However, we make sure you are not disturbed as much as possible and it is lovely and quiet. We respect your privacy so tend to keep things quiet when we have guests and you have your own secluded section of garden and seating area which is separate from the main garden area.

We ask guests to be mindful of leaving food or shoes outside the cabin as these could be stolen by our Orla!
To use TV remote control point it at the bottom right hand corner of the TV.
I am afraid we are unable to except pets to stay over.
Please note: linen/plant pots/welcome pack is changeable accordingly. Welcome pack consists of milk & biscuits for short stays. Wine and flowers are included for stays over 5 days.
