St Ives Boat Rides offer a range of different boat trips, fast ribrides, boat hire, kayak and paddleboard hire, seal Island , fishing and godrevy lighthouse trips.
Rib Rides
We are a fully Licensed and Insured Rib Ride operating from St Ives harbour front taking 12 passengers (Aged 5+) around St Ives fantastic Bays and Beaches allowing you to see St Ives gorgeous views from the sea.
We offer a high speed Adrenaline fuelled scenic boat ride around St.Ives and Hayle’s finest coast.The Ribride is a 30 minute thrilling trip start to finish, Top of the range Automatic Life Jackets are provided for all and we also have weather macs if required on the day.

Self Drive Motor Boats
St Ives Self Drive Boat Rentals boasts 12 brand new motor boats varying from Picton Sunsports to Excel Inflatable Ribs.
Our 5 & 6 seater boats are all kitted out to the highest of spec and have steering wheels in place to make it a easy for all to drive, We provide Life Jackets for everybody Including the Dog so dont be leaving your furry friends at home. You can also hire one of our Self Drive Boats for a few hours for Fishing (Prices on request) All of our friendly staff have grown up around the sea and are qualified Boatsman.

Godrevy And Seal Island
On your trip to Godrevy Lighthouse which is on the Eastern Side of St.ives Bay you will pass hayle Beautiful 3 mile stretch of Golden Sands.
Godrevy Lighthouse which was Built on the largest rock of Stones reef in 1858 is also very popular with the Grey Atlantic seals so don’t forget you camera as there will be no doubt a few Seals sun bathing on the lighthouse grounds.
This is your opportunity to experience a fantastic boat ride taking in the views and the bays and beaches of St Ives towards Godrevy light house built 1859. You are under cover and therefore protected from the elements. Demelza is a unique boat totally different from any other vessel in St Ives due to her shallow draft she can get a lot closer to the beaches and the wild life including the seals then any other local commercial pleasure boat. Your skipper Ian has spent his whole life in St Ives he is a commercial fisherman in the winter so you can be assured Ian is a very experienced skipper. If you say Hi Ian and give him a "Hi five" he will give you a free fridge magnet as a memory of your amazing sea trip.( normally £2.00 ) The round tip to seal island takes approximately forty five minutes with including viewing time for photo opportunities. Other larger boats take up to one and a half hours to complete the same trip in crowded conditions, and due to their size are unable to get up close to the seals. Demelza is a bespoke storm force ridged inflatable boat with a passenger capacity of ten she is a lot faster then any other commercial pleasure boat in St Ives, Not to be confused with the fast rib ride Demelza is available for private charter please telephone or text us on 07770 040 303 Although not compulsory for your families safety and your peace of mind and comfort unlike other boat business in St Ives we supply and recommend that you and your family wear lifejackets for the duration of the trip. After all you would not put your family in a car and allow them not wear seat belts so please don't go to sea without a lifejacket.

Seal Island And Fishing Trips
On your trip to Seal Island you will cruise along the Cornish Coast taking in the natural views and passing our beautiful golden beaches.
looking out for our resident sea life such as Dolphins, Basking Sharks, Sun Fish and Seals all which are regularly sighted on a daily basis before reaching Seal Island the home of the Grey Atlantic Seals. The little Mermaid has no association with the mermaid Penzance.
The Little Mermaid is a small but spacious boat she carries twelve people, and only takes one hour for a return trip to seal island Unlike the larger boats there is no waiting to embark or disembark Being a smaller boat she can get a lot closer to the seals for the perfect view and photo opportunities, this is a trip not to be missed The Little Mermaid is a very comfortable and friendly boat our skipper Charles is a very friendly and experienced skipper. Little Mermaid is fitted with a full length canopy for your protection from the elements. For you convenience she has a toilet on board. This is a dog friendly trip so please don't leave your best fury friend at home. If you greet Charles by saying his name and giving him a "Hi five" he will reward you with a free fridge magnet as a lasting memory of your trip on the Little Mermaid ( normally £2.00 )
Fishing Trips
Our fishing trips are approximately one and a half hours in duration. The most common fish caught are Mackerel, however, Red Mullet and many more can also be caught Your skipper is Charles he is a very experienced fisherman in the winter months he is a commercial fisherman in St Ives, he is very experienced and knowledgeable in finding the best fishing areas. The skipper will give instructions to the inexperienced customers so you nothing to worry about except may be barbecuing your catch when you get back. We supply all the fishing gear you will need to catch your fish, all you will require is a plastic bag for your fish. This is a fantastic bonding experience for all the family lads dads mums and daughters Although not compulsory we recommend and supply lifejacket for all our passengers, the little Mermaid is an extremely safe vessel. Fully tested and licensed by Mecal and fully insured. However for your families extra safety assurance and comfort we prefer you to wear a lifejacket You would not put your family in your car and allow them not were a seat belt, so please do not go to sea without a lifejacket.
