The Sloop Inn - In The Heart Of St Ives
One of Cornwall’s oldest and most famous Inns, favourite haunt of locals, fishermen, artists and tourists all year round. Believed to date from around 1312 AD, the Sloop Inn is situated right on the harbour front at St Ives with only a cobbled forecourt and road separating it from the sea. All the beaches, shops and art galleries, including the Tate Gallery, are within easy walking distance.
The Sloop Inn has very comfortable double, twin and family rooms available for Bed & Breakfast accommodation throughout the year.
Dinner can also be reserved subject to availability and is served in our restaurant THE CAPTAINS TABLE.
We now have a couple of dog friendly rooms so bring the pooch with you’.
All rooms are en-suite and all have LCD televisions, heating, and hair dryers.
Nearly all the rooms have glorious direct views of the harbour and bay beyond, all have sound insulation to ensure a degree of peace and quiet.
A full English or Continental breakfast is served in the Lookout, Admirals, Boatmans & Midshipmans or in our restaurant THE CAPTAINS TABLE between 8.30am and 9.00am or earlier by request upon arrival.
Rooms are available from approx 2.00pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms.
Lunches and evening meals are available in the dining areas of the bars and our restaurant THE CAPTAINS TABLE. The extensive menu covers all tastes. There is a large public car park to the rear and long term car parks within a few minutes walk.
Most major credit cards are accepted for payment.
Limited parking in a nearby carpark is available at a daily rate and can be pre-booked.

Situated on the first floor above our bars the Captains Table is an intimate dining experience, with only 26 covers and not all pushed together its a great place to relax and enjoy our food.
Following the success of our Thursday night steaks we have decieded to do them every night with the added bonus of a Free bottle of wine when you buy any two………..
